In Zauctioning, the animated Zauctioneer exchanges ziggles and zoggles for zaggles. Two examples of fair trades are given, and from the examples the zauctioneer must determine how many zaggles to exchange for 1 ziggle and 1 zoggle. The zauctioneer solves the problem algebraically, and Cassie, the trader, checks the answer to make sure the trade is fair by using a second strategy, estimate and revise. Currency exchanges are provided as a real world example where this type of math occurs in every day life.
